Steph started her modern jive journey in New Zealand at a local Ceroc class in 2006 and reconnected with the dance a couple of years after moving to the UK. Now a major part of her life, she also DJs as well as teaching and performing alongside her husband Matt.
Since joining the competition circuit in 2013, she has achieved just shy of 90 top-three placements (over 30 of them 1st place) in a range of categories from Take a Chance and Top Cats to Double Trouble, including 17 Open wins (one at WMJC) and two Grand Masters trophies.
Recognised for her clean lines, poise and musicality (with occasional sass), Steph will be looking for these qualities and more in competitors on the WMJC floor, including a focus on connection, partnership and good solid technique.
